Paul Pogba reveals how Man United treat fans who travel long distance

United fan rewarded

Good guy Paul Pogba was around on Saturday to reward a Manchester United fan for his commitment.

The France international posted a picture on Instagram of himself and Leon, a United fan who ‘often flies from Australia to watch their matches’. The club decided to treat him for his loyalty and dedication after the 4-0 win over Reading in the FA Cup. Leon received treats from the megastore, including a signed Pogba jersey.

Pogba captioned the photo: ‘Leon often flies from Australia to watch our matches and I was lucky to meet him by chance. Merci for the support my friend, and merci to Old Trafford’s Manchester United megastore’s team for taking care of our big fans  bon dimanche à tous! @manchesterunited #superfan #neverfollow #australia’

It isn’t the first time this season that a deserving United fan has been surprised by Pogba. The world record signing is making his presence felt on and off the pitch. Supporters would say that you can tell he’s one of their own.

FA Cup win

Pogba wasn’t involved in United’s easy victory against Reading on Saturday. Wayne Rooney equalled Sir Bobby Charlton’s club goals record with a goal that went in off his knee. Anthony Martial doubled that lead with a terrific finish before Marcus Rashford scored a double, one that came from a horrendous Ali Al-Habsi error.
