West Ham United have this afternoon officially announced the signing of English international goalkeeper Joe Hart from Premier League rivals Manchester City.
Hart, who was deemed surplus to requirements at City following the arrivals of both Claudio Bravo and Ederson, endured a difficult campaign on loan at Serie A side Torino last season.
On the move
He has since seen his value drop dramatically, with no clubs rumoured to have been prepared to pay the Citizens’ asking price of 20 million Euro.
It was rumoured that Hart would only be allowed to leave the Etihad on a permanent transfer, with Pep Guardiola and co. keen to cut ties with the former Birmingham City standout.
However, this did not prove to be the case, with West Ham revealing this afternoon that they had secured the 30-year-old on loan for the 2017/18 season.
