Newcastle United could be about to make the biggest move of their summer transfer window as they look set to bid for Everton’s James McCarthy.
The Irishman has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park in recent months and Newcastle have been long linked with the player.
Though, there may well be a very interesting point to the transfer, with Everton looking to recieve a £25m fee for the player.
The club have spoken in recent transfer windows that the player is not for sale and Ronald Koeman has made it known he is in his plans.
Though there are suggestions that may well not be the case and after injury problems plaguing the last year of his career, he could be sold.
Dean Jones of the Bleacher Report believes that Newcastle could well go in with a bid to sign the player but it is unsure how much that would be.
Whether that could be close to Everton’s valuation or not will likely soon be revealed.
Sounds like Newcastle could go ahead with a bid to sign James McCarthy from Everton.
