Rashford to the rescue
Marcus Rashford was Manchester United’s hero on Thursday night, helping the Red Devils qualify for the Europa League semi-final.
The teenager followed up his goal against Chelsea with an extra-time winner against Anderlecht. With the tie level 2-2 on aggregate, Rashford gave United the lead in the 107th minute.
Rashford is likely to have a big part to play in the remainder of Man United’s season following Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s knee injury on Thursday night.
Following the game, a number of players tweeted at their joy of reaching the competition’s last four.
Juan Mata and Michael Carrick took to Twitter and revealed their nickname for Rashford.
