Radja Nainggolan

Man United join the race for long term Chelsea target

Will Radja Nainggolan ever come to the Premier League?

After some excellent seasons, Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan is increasingly being linked with Premier League giants on a regular basis.

Last summer, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte was very keen on brining the Belgian midfielder to Stamford Bridge.

Nainggolan has publicly spoken of Chelsea’s offer and how he preferred to stay at Roma.

Manchester United join the race

On Thursday, Sky Sports reported Kaveh Solhekol has reported that Manchester United are now keen to sign Nainggolan this summer.

Manchester United certainly need to improve their central midfield options with Michael Carrick now looking towards one final season playing at Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho is also likely to want to protect Paul Pogba in the coming seasons with a midfield enforcer and Nainggolan could fit that bill.

Chelsea still linked with Nainggolan

In recent weeks, Nainggolan has continued to be linked with Chelsea, who are also reportedly interested in his team mate Antonio Rudiger as well.

But, Chelsea’s most likely defensive midfield option is likely to be Tiemoué Bakayoko from Monaco.

Nainggolan has often publicly admitted that he would like to stay at Roma so it will be intriguing to see if either Manchester United or Chelsea can lure him from the Italian capital.
