Shaw withdrawn from England squad
Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw has been withdrawn from England’s squad to face Slovakia on Sunday night.
Apparently, this is due to the player being rested from training today and it is just a precautionary measure taken from Manchester United.
This comes as Manchester United tweeted saying that the player will return to Manchester to train with the club instead of with England.
However, what makes no sense is why the player would be called up to the England squad in the first place, if they had no intention of playing him.
Also it is strange that he would sit out of England’s training as a precaution, if he wasn’t carrying a knock.
With this being said, many Manchester United fans are going into meltdown on Twitter and are hoping that the player will be fit to feature in this weekend’s Manchester Derby at Old Trafford.
Man United fans concerned
Many Manchester United fans are concerned that Luke Shaw is indeed, injured again.
Shaw, who had started both this season and last season so brightly for Manchester United, would of course be a huge blow for the club, if he was to get injured again.
It is believed that this is not the case. However, many fans feel that the FA and Manchester United may not be telling the whole truth about the situation.
