Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp conducted an FA Cup style to determine which players would be paired for their mid-season trip.
The exercise was used in an attempt to have the squad bond while away on a break due to their lack of FA Cup fixture this weekend.
Players usually have a room to themselves but were made to share with players that they may not usually socialise with.
The boss revealed his motivation to the Liverpool Echo and explained that he has enjoyed the break.
“We had this little funny gimmick. Bringing the players together by putting them in twin rooms,” he explained.
“Lallana and Manninger. Henderson is with Ojo, Milner with Sadio. Firmino and Karius – nice room!”
The boss also confirmed that Simon Mignolet was paired with youngster Conor Masterson, even saying that he isn’t sure Mignolet even knew who he was!

Striker sent home
Daniel Sturridge has been sent home from the camp following a little virus that could effect the squad.
The striker confirmed he will join back up with the squad when they are back but was sent home as a precaution.
