Arsenal fans worrying about Hector Bellerin needn’t fret. The Spanish right-back missed the FA Cup third round win over Preston through injury but it isn’t serious. He’s set to have treatment during the week and will hopefully be available for the Premier League game against Swansea, according to Spanish journalist Eduardo Fdez-Abascal.
Bellerin has been a key player for Arsenal over the last two years. His performances attracted attention from the likes of Man City and Barcelona. The Gunners blocked attempts to lure him away with a new contract in November.
His recent performance in the 3-3 draw at Bournemouth attracted criticism.
He was suspect throughout and will be keen to redeem himself with his next display. A kick to the ankle during Friday’s training session ruled him out of the Cup game. Tests have been conducted as a precaution.
