Gareth Bale drops bombshell on Real Madrid as Chelsea and Man United wait

Willing to leave

The Express have claimed Gareth Bale has dropped a massive bombshell on Real Madrid, and told them to either keep him and play him week in, week out, or to sell him.

Bale is willing to move this summer, but will not make it easy for Real Madrid to sell him next year or in the future, wanting to know where his own future will be – and putting his foot down.

He’s worried that should Real bring in someone like Kylian Mbappe, he could well lose his spot in the side – and looking at the players Real Madrid also have in their squad, they could well play a variety of stars – and not have Bale in the starting line up.

Bale himself is fed up of speculation over his future, and wants the club to make a clear statement about where they see him in the next few seasons – be it back in the Premier League, or in their side playing a key role in the fight for trophies.

Premier League return?

Of course, the natural reaction from the media and fans would be to assume Bale wants to return to England, and that is thought to be the case if the player does leave Real Madrid.

Both Chelsea and Manchester United are keen on him, with Jose Mourinho already vocalising that this season, yet Mourinho is willing to shell out £90 million – whereas Real value the player at slightly more, and would like £109 million.

Of course, Chelsea have dealt with Real Madrid this summer and manager Conte has made it clear he wants to see a top player brought in – with Bale being a huge possibility should he leave Real Madrid.
