As reported earlier in the day, Chelsea have agreed terms with former defender David Luiz.
The Brazilian left the Blues in 2014 to sign for French champions PSG for a fee of £50 million.
PSG are set to recoup a significant amount of that investment, having agreed a £32 million pound with Chelsea.
The Blues are in need of defensive reinforcements, but the return of David Luiz has still come as a big surprise.
Luiz scored 12 goals in 143 appearances during his first spell with the London club.
To laugh or cry?
Many are unsure whether this represents great business by Chelsea or not.
Cannot get my head around the fact that David Luiz was sold for £50m and is now being bought back for £32m. pic.twitter.com/7RNGoM8NW1

Matt Spiro make a good point, though.
Lots of mocking when #PSG spent €50m on David Luiz, but 3 years later they’re about to sell him back for close to €40m. Turns 30 this season

It’s safe to say that not all Chelsea fans are happy about this one.
I can’t be the only Chelsea fan dreading the signing of David Luiz? Awful.

If David Luiz is the answer, I’m not sure what the question is.
