Swansea v Boro
Sunday’s first game in the Premier League was a relegation six-pointer at the Liberty Stadium, as Swansea City welcomed Middlesbrough to Wales.
Boro started the day second bottom of the Premier League, while Swansea sit just above Hull, fourth bottom of the league.
During the opening exchanges, one player demanded attention in the match.
Boro’s 21-year-old Spanish winger Adama Traore focused plenty of attention, less for his football and more because of his look.
Traore spruced up his appearance with a striking new blonde hairdo.
Cue the jokes
Traore’s blonde barnet sparked plenty of reaction on social media, with many attempting to identify what or who the winger reminded them of.
Some of the suggestions ranged from a coral reef to Japanese comic character.
While Traore attracted attention, it’s worth remembering he’s scored a grand total of zero goals in 21 appearances in the Premier League this season.

Reckon Adama Traore will become my new favourite player who keeps getting relegated but then signing for a newly-promoted team anyway.
