Everton’s summer shopping list
Ronald Koeman had issues with his goalies in 2016-17, as both Joel Robles and Maarten Stekelenburg both made errors between the sticks for the Toffees.
Everton are in need of a top, new keeper, and the club have moved to sign Black Cats stopper Jordan Pickford following his impressive campaign last season in the EPL.
Everton are due to pay 30 million pounds for Pickford, which would make the 23-year-old the third most expensive keeper of all-time.
Who else is could be coming?
According to the Times on Wednesday, Everton have six stars on their summer shopping list including Pickford.
Ajax star Davy Klaassen is poised to move to Goodison Park this summer in a £26 million deal, while Everton’s midfield could be further boosted as the club target Swansea City’s Gylfi Sigurdsson.
At the back, Burnley centre-half Michael Keane is on the Everton list, while right back Cuco Martina is set to leave Southampton for the Toffees on a free transfer.
The final player Everton are hoping to sign is Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez. The Times report the forward “held talks with Everton over the weekend as he considers a move to the Premier League.”
