Zlatan & the Europa League trophy

Eric Bailly posts insane video welcoming Zlatan back to Man United

He’s back

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be a Manchester United player again by the end of the week if the most recent reports are to be believed, and it seems that everyone is happy to see the forward return.

In fact, Eric Bailly posted a rather daring video of the player and himself on his Instagram account, complete with a cheeky caption, showing that he is glad to have the player back – and Zlatan himself may have something to say when he catches up with the defender at Carrington.

Zlatan himself had posted a video kickboxing on his social media pages, to show he’s nearing full fitness, and Bailly decided to kick Zlatan – softly of course – and then wisely ran away.

The video

Hope you’re almost ready to return, @iamzlatanibrahimovic, I’ll be right here!

First goal

Bailly himself has enjoyed a brilliant weekend, with another solid performance at the heart of the Manchester United defence – complete with a goal of course and another clean sheet, which makes it eight goals scored and zero conceded for United so far this season.

The defender is fast becoming the number one choice for Jose Mourinho at the back and someone who looks like he could boss Premier League strikers around for years to come should he wish to stay at Old Trafford.

Bailly is everything Mourinho loves in a defender, and will be a key part of the ever present players who make up the spine of Mourinho’s United side and who play week in, week out for the club.

A strong spine has been the hallmark of a Mourinho side throughout his career, and now he really seems to have one he trusts and is happy with at United – and the results so far are showing that in spades.
