Chelsea skipper John Terry could well be set to join Arsenal according to sensational reports.
It has been thought that the long serving Blues man would be off to the likes of Bournemouth or Crystal Palace should he stay in the Premier League, yet now reports have emerged that Arsene Wenger is keen to sign him.
While Terry is not what he once was on the field, it would be a huge blow for Blues fans, who idolise their skipper, and to see him leave for a direct rival, much like Frank Lampard did, would be upsetting.
Odds have been slashed on Terry defecting to north London, and it seems that what was once something that seemed impossible is now rather probable.
Playing this weekend
Terry could be in line to play for Chelsea this weekend, with Gary Cahill a major doubt after being hospitalised earlier in the week, with the same bug that seemed to affect the club so badly when they played Manchester United.
It would be a remarkable chance for Terry, especially if it allowed him to end his Chelsea career on a high, with a win over Spurs.
