A wanted man
Chelsea could well face some competition for one of their January targets if La Parisien are to be believed.
The Blues are keen on Javier Hernandez, who’s currently playing for Bayer Leverkusen, and now it seems that with Jese set to leave Paris Saint Germain, the Ligue 1 side are also considering matching the 25 million euro price tag Bayern have set.
With Michy Batshuayi failing to impress Antonio Conte, the Chelsea boss wants another alternative to Diego Costa, and sees Hernandez as that man – given he’s a proven goal scorer in the Premier League as well.
Bayer are willing to sell
The club have put a price on the forward’s head, and are willing to cash in on someone who has been so prolific for them.
With current Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho also lamenting the fact the club sold Hernandez, it’s clear the little Mexican forward has a huge amount of admirers and respect in the game – and looks like being purchased by a club at the very top once again.
