A new drugs scandal have erupted on Tuesday following a hack by the group Fancy Bears.

Fancy Bears are a group of Russian hackers who have been getting involved in the world of sport in recent months.

They have previous hacked the World Anti-Doping agency to expose athletes’ who used banned substances, known as therapeutic use exemptions (TUEs).

On Tuesday, Fancy Bears have turned their attention to the world of football to reveal a list of players who used banned medicines during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

In total twenty-five players have been named in the hack.

Man United and Liverpool old boys Juan Sebastien Veron, Gabriel Heinze, Carlos Tevez and Dirk Kuyt were part of the list.

Other well-known players included Argentina’s Diego Milito and Walter Samuel plus. Germany’s Mario Gomez and Christian Träsch.

Italy’s Vincenzo Iaquinta and Mauro Camoranesi have also been named.
