AC Milan v Chelsea
Chelsea’s ongoing search for a new striker continues on Wednesday, while Blues fans receive more bad news.
According to a couple of reports, AC Milan are now ahead of the Blues in the race for Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata and Torino’s Andrea Belotti.
On Tuesday, Borussia Dortmund made it crystal clear that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will not be leaving the club after he’d been linked to both Chelsea and AC Milan.
According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, AC Milan have now made official contract with Morata’s agent over a possible move from Real Madrid to the San Siro.
Morata, of course, has Serie A experience following a two-year spell at Juventus.
It’s claimed that Real Madrid are looking for between 60 to 65 million euros for the 24-year-old Spanish centre-forward.
But Pedulla also notes that the Rossoneri aren’t putting all their eggs in one basket.
It’s noted that Belotti is “warm” about a Milan move, while Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic is also in the picture.

As for Belotti, who is another striker who has been linked to Chelsea, Gianluca Di Marzio has reported on how Milan are also closing on the Italian attacker.
According to the Italian transfer guru, Belotti has agreed to joining Milan.
In return, Torino could trouser €60m, M’Baye Niang and Gabriel Paletta. The two players are valued together at €40m, which would satisfy Torino’s €100m asking price for Belotti.
