One of the stories which has popped up in the last few days have been suggestions that Kurt Zouma is no longer in favour at Chelsea.

A few days ago, Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio claimed that Schalke were trying to sign Zouma on loan.

Zouma on the comeback trail

After making his breakthrough last year at Stamford Bridge, Zouma incurred a horror injury in the home match against Manchester United which derailed his season and his involvement at the Euros.

21-year-old Zouma is now back in training, but he’s yet to make his return to the Blues setup.

L’Equipe: Conte doesn’t want Zouma

Leading French paper L’Equipe (via Sport Witness) have a short update on Zouma’s situation on Wednesday, and it’s not great news for the young defender.

According to the broadsheet, Zouma isn’t in Antonio Conte’s plans at Stamford Bridge.

For the record, L’Equipe do not namedrop any potential suitors.

At the same time, rumours linking Chelsea with PSG’s David Luiz and Fiorentina’s Marcos Alonso get even louder.
