Sky Sport Italia have confirmed this afternoon that the agent of Bayern Munich star Douglas Costa is in Turin for talks with Juventus.
Serie A bound?
The Brazilian winger has been linked with a move to the Champions League finalists for several weeks now, with Bianconeri boss Max Allegri seeing the former Shakhtar Donetsk winger as the ideal addition to his squad for next season.
Upon the arrival of Costa’s representative, Junior Mendonza, in Italy today, it is reported that Juve director Beppe Marotta was quoted a 50 million Euro fee for his client, but the Serie A champions are confident that these demands can be lowered.
The Old Lady’s confidence regarding a deal comes courtesy of the excellent relations between the club and their German counterparts, with Arturo Vidal, Kingsley Coman and Medhi Benatia having all made their way between the sides in recent years.
