Bacca to leave Milan
Surplus to requirements at AC Milan, Carlos Bacca won’t be sticking around for the club’s rebirth.
The Colombian striker scored 34 goals over two seasons for Milan but the club feel that the 30-year-old is no longer good enough to be a first-choice striker. Having arrived from Sevilla, he looks set for a La Liga return.
Di Marzio report that Villarreal are in talks to sign Bacca and look like they’ll get their man. The Spanish side finished fifth in La Liga last season despite struggling in front of goal. They only scored 56 times.
The signing of Enes Unal from Manchester City should prove shrewd. City have included a buy-back in the young forward’s contract. He reacted to a sensational news report about Bacca on a Turkish site with dry wit.

Bacca was a hit during his time with Sevilla, scoring 49 goals in two seasons. It looks likely that his time at Villarreal will start as a loan spell that could become permanent based on appearances or goals.
