Dubbed “The Next Pele” as a teenager, 26 year old Freddy Adu was once considered as the hottest property in world football.
His career has flopped and last week joined the Tampa Bay Rowdies – his 13th professional club after recently leaving Finnish side KuPS.
Currently playing in the second tier of American soccer, the Tampa Bay Rowdies posted a video of Freddy Adu’s first day at the club.
This probably isn’t where he saw himself 12 years ago when he became an MLS sensation as a 14 year old. Watch the video below.
Adu also took part in a successful bin challenge which can be seen below the YouTube clip. He is the 5th player to head the ball back.
