Ricardo Goulart (Cruzeiro) scores from his own half v Chivas!

Goulart’s long ranger was so good that the cameraman missed it!

Brazilian side Cruzeiro played Chivas Mexico in a friendly in Texas on Sunday and Cruzeiro’s second goal was David Beckham-esque.

Ricardo Goulart, a 23-year-old Cruzeiro attacker, capitalised on a poor pass from the Chivas Mexico right back to ping home a brilliant long ranger.

In Brazil they have already hailed Goulart’s strike as the “goal Pele couldn’t score” – with his famous effort versus Czechoslovakia just missing the goal in 1970.

After the game, Goulart said: “It was a beautiful goal but it has still not sunk in yet!”
