Pumas smack Marathon for six to make all-Mexican CONCACAF semi-finals

Pumas 6 – Marathon 1 (Agg. 6-3) (CONCACAF Champions League second leg, March 18, 2010) Pablo Berrera opened the scoring with a quality left footed strike from distance into the top corner, Ismael Iniguez headed the second and the same player then scored the third from distance to put the home side ahead on aggregate. Five minutes into the second half Martin Bravo lobbed in the fourth only for a shocking mistake from the Pumas keeper to allow Marathon into the tie with the goal going down as a Jehu Chiapas own goal.  But further goals from Francisco Palencia who claimed a late brace completed the scoring.
