LA Galaxy maintain lead over Houston Dynamo; RSL & San Jose pick up home wins

New England Revolution 1 – FC Dallas 1 (MLS, May 1, 2010) Zack Schilawski tapped in the opening goal in the 41st minute while Atiba Harris converted a Dax McCarty free-kick for the equaliser in the 67th minute.

Real Salt Lake 2 – Toronto FC 1 (MLS, May 1, 2010)  Jamison Olave tapped in a header from Alvaro Saborio to give RSL the elad in the 14th minute. Andy Williams made it 2-0 in the 42nd when he ran onto a ball from Tony Beltran and put it into the upper left corner of the net. Toronto’s Dwayne De Rosario scored his sixth goal in as many League contests via a penalty kick in the 87th minute.

Chicago Fire 1 – Chivas USA 1 (MLS, May 1, 2010) Baggio Husidic gave the Fire the lead in the 53rd minute, when Pappa passed the ball to Nyarko on the right side of the box. Chivas equalised when Sacha Kljestan bent a corner kick into the box in the 76th minute and Maicon Santos powered home a header.

Seattle Sounders 1 – Columbus Crew 1 (MLS, May 1, 2010) Seattle midfielder Steve Zakuani scored in the first five minutes and Columbus’ Steve Lenhart responded with his first goal of the year on the stroke of halftime.

San Jose Earthquakes 1 – Colorado Rapids 0 (MLS, May 1, 2010) Chris Wondolowski grabbed the winner for San Jose in the first half.

LA Galaxy 3 – Philadelphia Union 1 (MLS, May 1, 2010) AJ Delagarza put the Galaxy in front in the first minute at the Home Depot Center and a brace from Edson Buddle (28 and 45) gave them total control by halftime. Substitute Jack McInerney scored a late consolation for the Union, who have won just one of their five MLS games so far.
