Chivas maintain their 100% record at Pachuna; Monterrey edge Estudiantes in 7-goal thriller; Atlas plunder seven past Indios

Pachuca 0 – Chivas 1 (Mexican Primera Division, February 17, 2010) Xavier Baez rifled a brilliant long-range shot into the back of the net as Chivas won their sixth consecutive win to set a new Mexican record.

Estudiantes 3 – Monterrey 4 (Mexican Primera Division, February 17, 2010) Defending champions Monterrey came-back from 2-1 to hold on for the win, Abraham Dario Carreno netted a second half brace and Aldo De Nigris added the crucial fourth.

Cruz Azul 1 – Morelia 0 (Mexican Primera Division, February 17, 2010) Cesar Villaluz grabbed the winner for the hosts.

Puebla 1 – San Luis 0 (Mexican Primera Division, February 17, 2010) Herculez Gomez scored two minutes to hand Puebla the points.

Atlas 7 – Indios de Juarez 1 (Mexican Primera Division, February 17, 2010) Miguel Zepeda bagged his second hat-trick in the rout. Indios, meanwhile, scored their first goal of the season that was not an own goal.

Atlante 2 – Jaguares 0 (Mexican Primera Division, February 17, 2010) Atlante struck early as Christian Bermudez pounced on a bad pass attempt from a Jaguares defender and fired a 25-yard shot on goal. Arturo Munoz finished off a counter-attack after the break to earn Atlante their first win of the season.

Toluca 3 – Club America 1 (Mexican Primera Division, February 17, 2010) Antonio Naelson put the host 1-up at the break, and Raul Mancilla and Manuel De La Torre opened up a 3-goal cushion for Toluca midway through the second half. Daniel Montenegro’s header proved mere consolation for America.

Queretaro 3 – Pumas 2 (Mexican Primera Division, February 17, 2010)
