Away wins for RSL & San Jose in the MLS; Toronto & Houston pick up three points at home

Toronto FC 1 – New England Revolution 0 (MLS, May 22, 2010) Chad Barrett got his third goal of the season on a glancing header off Sam Cronin’s corner in the 53rd minute. Barrett had a chance at a second in the 72nd minute but sent his lob over the bar.

Chivas USA 1 – Real Salt Lake 2 (MLS, May 22, 2010) Chris Wingert scored in first-half stoppage time to give Real Salt Lake a lead going into the intermission, but Chivas tied the match in the 81st minute when Justin Braun scored from 18 yards out. Fabian Espindola scored two minutes from time to seal the win for the visitors.

Houston Dynamo 2 – DC United 0 (MLS, May 22, 2010) Danny Cruz scored his first career goal and Dominic Oduro added another to help the Houston Dynamo defeat struggling DC United.

Seattle Sounders 0 – San Jose Earthquakes 1 (MLS, May 22, 2010) San Jose’s fifth clean sheet in their last six games helped pick up the three points on the road, Chris Wondolowski netting his fifth goal of the season to settle the match.
