Esteghlal 1 – Al-Sadd 1 (AFC Champions League, March 1, 2011) Farhad Majidi opened for the Iranian hosts midway through the first half, but Leandro levelled for Qatari outfit Al-Sadd two minutes from time.

Pakhtakor 2 – Al Nasr 2 (AFC Champions League, March 1, 2011) Sherzod Karimov opened the scoring for the hosts seconds before the break but Bader Al Motawaa equalised five minutes into the second half. Dilshod Sharofetdinov put Pakhtakor ahead once again on the hour but Bojan Miladinovic ensured Al Nasr would leave Uzbekistan with their first point when he put the ball into his own net when attempting to cut out Mohammad Al Sahlawi’s cross.

Al Hilal 1 – Sepahan 2 (AFC Champions League, March 1, 2011) Ibrahima Toure and Fabio Januario both netted rather soft goals early in the second half as Iranian outfit Sepahan took control of the match. Christean Wilhelmsson netted a late consolation for the Saudi hosts.
