Inter Milan hit back ten minutes later, Wesley Sneijder equalised following a neat move involving EtoÃ³ and Milito. Inter needed a minute after the restart to move ahead, Messi lost possession allowing Cambiasso to advance before freeing Milito down the right, he squared it to Maicon who scuffed his way past a defender before poking past Valdes. Just before the hour Inter went 3-1 ahead as Barca’s defence fell to pieces, Sneijder’s effort from the edge of the area was converted in the box by Diego Milito.
Helsingborg 2 – Malmo 1 (Allsvenskan, April 20, 2010) Malmo took the lead after four minutes as Wilton Aguiar Figueiredo struck from the spot. But league leaders Helsingborg hit back with two first half goals by Adrian Gashi and Marcus Nilsson to claim the three points.
Djurgarden 2 – Atvidaberg 1 (Allsvenskan, April 20, 2010)
Estudiantes 1 – Alianza Lima 0 (Copa Libertadores, April 20, 2010) Estudiantes made it into Copa Libertadores’ round-of-16 thanks to a 1-0 home win over rivals Alianza Lima. Juan Sebastian Veron scored the winner in the fifth minute of injury-time when he scored after seeing his initial spot-kick saved.
Bolivar 2 – Juan Aurich 0 (Copa Libertadores, April 20, 2010) Second half goals by Walter Flores (a stunner) and Alex Da Rosa for Bolivar earned them the victory, but both sides exit the tournament having failed to progress past the groups.
