Blackburn 2 – Arsenal 1 (Premier League, May 3, 2010) (Longer highlights here.) Robin van Persie gave Arsenal a 12th minute lead at Blackburn as the Dutchman headed home Samir Nasri’s corner at the back post after Sagna’s near post flick-on. Two minutes from the break Rovers levelled with a scrappy equaliser caused by yet another flap from Fabianski, the Gunners keeper missed a corner that resulted with David Dunn stabbing home at the back stick. In the 68th minute Blackburn took the lead, Pedersen swung a corner into the box when Christopher Samba beat his marker and flicked a header past Fabianski, who again failed to dominate his area.
Wigan 2 – Hull 2 (Premier League, May 3, 2010) Victor Moses sparked the game into life with the opener on 30 minutes, cutting in from the left and finishing well. Three minutes before the break debutant Will Atkinson equalised for the Tigers (offside?). Hull then looked like they would keep their tiny Premier League survival hopes alive when Mark Cullen headed in their second but with the last kick of the game, Steve Gohouri scrambled in the equaliser.
