Deportivo Quito, Universidad de Chile close in on Copa Libertadores last 16

Caracas 1 – Universidad de Chile 3 (Copa Libertadores, April 13, 2010) Mauricio Victorino got Universidad started on its way to a comfortable win at Caracas, prodding the opening goal past goalkeeper Renny Vega following a left wing free-kick in the 18th minute. Juan Olivera increased the lead with a 32nd minute penalty and Matias Rodriguez made it 3-0 in the 35th. Alejandro Guerra was sent off for Caracas in the 66th minute, but Cesar Gonzalez still managed a consolation goal for the Venezuelan club in the 76th.

Deportivo Quito 2 – Cerro 1 (Copa Libertadores, April 13, 2010) Isaac Mina gave Deportivo the lead against Cerro, scoring from a low corner in the 20th minute. Claudio Dadomo equalised with a penalty in the 25th minute, but Checa headed the winner at the back post in the 86th to give Deportivo victory.
