Botafogo 3 – Atletico Paranaense 2 (Agg. 3-2) (Copa Sudamericana, September 16, 2009) Goals by Lucio Flavio (penalty), Gabriel and Wellington gave Botafogo a 3-2 win over Paranaense. Wesley and Nei were on target for Atletico.

Goias 1 – Atletico Mineiro 1 (Agg. 1-1) (Pens. 6-5) Junior had put Atletico Mineiro ahead in the 70th minute, but Felipe equalised with a penalty six minutes later.
