Copa Libertadores: Ronaldo nets winner for Corinthians; Adriano on target as Fla fall in Chile

Cerro Porteno 0 – Corinthians 1 (Copa Libertadores, March 17, 2010) Corinthians went ahead in the 41st minute of the Group One match in Asuncion when Ronaldo tapped in from a corner. Cerro midfielder Jorge Britez was sent off eight minutes from the end for a violent foul.

Universidad de Chile 2 – Flamengo 1 (Copa Libertadores, March 17, 2010) Striker Eduardo Vargas headed the Chilean side in front two minutes before halftime. Flamengo, whose striker Adriano hit the bar early on, equalised through Rodrigo Alvim in the 51st minute but they hardly had time to celebrate before falling behind again to Felipe Seymour’s strike in the 55th.

Monterrey 2 – Once Caldas 2 (Copa Libertadores, March 17, 2010) Dayro Moreno put the Colombian side ahead early in the second minute but Osvaldo Martinez made the game even with a 19th minute penalty. Neri Cardozo gave the lead to Monterrey two minutes into the second half after a nice individual play, but Jaime Castrillon ensured Once Caldas took a point from the Estadio Tecnologico.
