Copa Libertadores: Argentine clubs have the upper hand over their Mexican rivals

San Luis defender Oscar Mascorro put through his own goal three minutes after the restart and Victor Lojero notched a consolation for the visitors.

Libertad 2 – Universitario Peru 1 (Copa Libertadores, February 11, 2009) Nobby Solano headed home in the 62nd minute after coming on as a halftime substitute to wipe out Manuel Maciel’s first-half opener for Libertad, before Juan Samudio struck an 83rd minute winner for the hosts.
