Boca take over top spot in Argentina

Boca regained the lead three minutes later when Luciano Figueroa volleyed in from Juan Roman Riquelme’s free kick, to send the Argentinean powerhouse to top spot in the league.

San Lorenzo 1 – Lanus 3 (Apertura, November 22, 2008) San Lorenzo’s title hopes took a major setback after they lost at home to Lanus. Lagos put Lanus in the lead after twelve minutes but leaders San Lorenzo equalised through Bergessio in the 26th minute.
