Thomson rescues Rangers’ unbeaten home record

Rangers 3 – Dundee United 3 (SPL, November 4, 2008) Rangers moved in front after 11 minutes when Davis sent a low shot past Zaluska. Craig Levein’s side did not have long to wait for the equaliser as Francisco Sandaza produced a wonderful finish, and United went in front after 27 minutes when Paul Dixon’s cut-back was eventually turned in by Sandaza. Rangers were before the break when Nacho Novo set up Sasa Papac for his first goal for the Gers. United regained the lead when a long throw from Dixon saw the ball drop to Robertson who made no mistake on 59 minutes. But Kevin Thomson salvaged a point for Rangers in dramatic style when he rifled home from 22 yards deep into injury time.
