Real fully recovered from crisis after Ronaldo hat-trick in easy win over Depor

Real Madrid 5 – Deportivo La Coruna 1 (La Liga, September 30th, 2012) Cristiano Ronaldo saw a good snapshot saved early on. Riki gave Depor the lead, waltzing through the Real defence and toe-poking home. Angel Di Maria was then put through 1v1 but his dink went just over. Cristiano Ronaldo equalised from the spot (but was Di Maria fouled inside or outside the box?) At 1-1, Real were lucky not concede a penalty after Varane brought a Depor attacker to the ground.  Di Maria pulled Real into the lead, and Cristiano Ronaldo saw Real go into the break 3-1 ahead with a goal on the stroke of half-time. Into the second half, Xabi Alonso saw a decent shot saved. Pepe made it 4-1, latching onto a header from a set-piece. Kaka’ had a decent chance to score an official goal but his shot was tame. Cristiano Ronaldo made it 5-1 with his second penalty of the game to complete his hat-trick.

Sergio Ramos on infamously being dropped against Man City : ‘No one can doubt my work-rate’. (In Spanish)

Karanka : ‘Khedira was Man of the Match.’
