Inter draw 2-2 with Cagliari; Aquilani’s stars in Fiorentina win; Bologna pound Palmero; Siena sink Pescara

Inter Milan 2 – Cagliari 2 (Serie A, November 18, 2012) Inter took a 10th minute leader over Cagliari when Rodrigo Sebastian Palacio headed home a Cassano cross. The visitors levelled before the interval through Marco Sau’s finish on the slide. Inter blew the chance to moved back in front when Diego Milito shot over the bar from two yards out, and they were soon punished when Marco Su showed super poise to turn in the Inter box and fire the visitors 2-1 up. Inter levelled in the final stages when Cagliari defender Davide Astori turned a cross into his own net.
Fiorentina 4 – Atalanta 1 (Serie A, November 18, 2012) Fiorentina raced ahead against Atalanta when a free-kick fell to Gonzalo Rodriguez who thumped the ball home, but the Viola were pegged back just after the half hour when Giacomo Bonaventura stabbed in the equaliser. Fiorentina regained the lead through a terrific free-kick from Alberto Aquilani, and the hosts went 3-1 up before the break when Aquilani headed home a set-play. Atalanta fell 4-1 behind after the break when an Aquilani cross was headed in by Luca Toni.
Bologna 3 – Palermo 0 (Serie A, November 18, 2012) A brilliant shot on the turn from Alberto Gilardino rocketed Bologna ahead against Palermo. A Manolo Gabbiadini penalty extended the hosts lead before the break, and another spot-kick from Alessandro Diamanti made it 3-0 in the 48th.
Udinese 2 – Parma 2 (Serie A, November 18, 2012) Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale opened the scoring against Parma when he broke the offside trap and lobbed a shot over the goalie. Marco Marchionni equalised just after the break for Parma, but Roberto Pereyra restored the home side’s advantage minutes later, only for Raffaele Palladino to grab a late goal to restore parity.
Catania 2 – Chievo 1 (Serie A, November 18, 2012) Sergio Almiron hit a brace in the second half to earned Catania the points.
