Juve & AC Milan drop point sat home; Fulham-bound Okaka bags Roma winner; Fiorentina draw at Cagliari

Roma 2 – Siena 1 (Serie A, January 31, 2010) John Arne Riise found the net for Roma for the second successive week on the half hour with a brilliant left-footed volley arrowed into the far corner. Simone Vergassola levelled for Siena following up from a free-kick before the break. Second half substitute Stefano Okaka, who is set to join Fulham on a six-month loan deal on Monday, fired a brilliant winner with a deliberate flick of his heel to bring the Stadio Olimpico to life.

Cagliari 2 – Fiorentina 2 (Serie A, January 31, 2010) Fiorentina broke the deadlock at Cagliari after 8 minutes when Marco Marchionni tucked in a left wing cross from 7-yards.A super striker from Andrea Lazzari, firing high into the near post, brought the hosts level in the 36th. And Cagliari went in front early in the second half when Davide Astori headed in a corner. Stevan Jovetic equalised on 62 minutes.

Chievo 1 – Bologna 1 (Serie A, January 31, 2010) For the second week running Marco Di Vaio scored for Bologna at the visitors took a 10th minute lead at Chievo. The Flying Donkeys pulled themselves after the break when Sergio Pellissier slid in unmarked at the back post to convert a corner.

Sampdoria 2 – Atalanta 0 (Serie A, January 31, 2010) A wonderful 20-yard drive from Angelo Palombo fired Samp in front against Atalanta and Giampaolo Pazzini bagged a second in injury time at the end of the half. Marco Padalino was shown a straight red card for dissent in the final minute but it did not affect the outcome as Samp took their unbeaten home run in the league past the 12-month mark.

Catania 1 – Udinese 1 (Serie A, January 31, 2010) Antonio Floro Flores headed back across goal to put Udinese in front, Marco Biagianti equalised with ten minutes remaining with a shot across the keeper.
