The visitors grabbed a lifeline at the end of the first half when Antonio di Natale slotted home a penalty. The Zebrette drew level on the hour when Di Nalate bagged his second of the game, but the Giallorossi were soon back in the lead when Vucinic converted his second from the penalty spot after Menez was hacked down in the box. Mirko Vucinic sealed the win with his hat-trick goal seven minutes from time.

Alberto Gilardino then netted a second-half penalty after rowing with team mate Stevan Jovetic over who would take the kick following a foul by keeper Marco Amelia on the Montenegrin.Â 17-year-old substitute Khouma Babacar then calmly slotted in his first Serie A goal late on after an error from Salvatore Bocchetti.
