Sweden 3 – Iceland 2 (Friendly, May 30, 2012) Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic needed just one and half minutes to score a terrific volley following a right-wing cross from Sebastian Larsson. The Swedes doubled their lead through Ola Toivonen in the 14th minute, but Iceland got a foothold in the contest midway through the first half when Kolbeinn Sigthorsson pulled a goal back with a header. Sweden wrapped up the win 12 minutes from time when a poor clearance from the Iceland keeper was eventually punished by Christian Wilhelmsson. Iceland’s Hallgrimur Jonasson bagged a consolation header with the last kick of the game.
