Nigeria 0 – Venezuela 1 (FIFA Under-20 World Cup, September 25, 2009) (Longer highlights here.) Venezuela shot down the Flying Eagles thanks to a goal on the stroke of halftime from Jonathan Del Valle which the Nigerian keeper should have done better with.

Paraguay 0 – Italy 0 (FIFA Under-20 World Cup, September 25, 2009) The young Azzurri side, despite having the better start, ended up on the back foot, with the Paraguayans perhaps feeling somewhat unlucky not to have scored.
