South Korea 2 – Ecuador 0 (International Friendly, May 16, 2010) South Korea made the breakthrough with 18 minutes remaining, Lee Sung-ryeol picked the ball up 30-yards from goal and the 21 year-old substitute wrong-footed two defenders before firing home a low shot from the edge of the area. Twelve minutes later Lee Chung-yong, introduced at halftime, burst into the box to score from close range.

Mexico 1 – Chile 0 (International Friendly, May 16, 2010) Alberto Medina’s first half goal earned Mexico yet another unimpressive 1-nil win in preparation for the World Cup.
