10-man Morocco survive Bengtson’s brace to draw with Honduras

Honduras 2 – Morocco 2 (Olympics 2012, July 26, 2012) Morocco moved in front in the 39th minute when Labyad nodded the ball down to Abdelaziz Barrada and he cracked a half-volley into the net. Honduras levelled ten minutes after the break as Jerry Bengtson deflected a shot from Wigan’s Maynor Figueroa into the net. Less than ten minutes later Honduras turned the match around as Jerry Bengtson was brought down in the box and the striker scored from the spot. Morocco hit back in the 67th minute through a deflected chip from Zakaria Labyad, but they were reduced to 10 men in the 72nd when Zakarya Bergdich kicked out at Martinez.
