Gabon 3 – Morocco 2 (Africa Cup of Nations, January 26, 2012) Fiorentina’s Houssine Kharja executed a neat turn and shot in the 28th minute to fire Morocco ahead. The match had a spectacular finish as Pierre-Emerick Aubemayang and the Daniel Cousin scored twice in two minutes to give Gabon the lead with 10 minutes left. Yet more drama was to come as Morocco won an injury time penalty for a handball which Houssine Kharja dispatched for 2-2. And yet more was to come (!) as in the seventh minute of injury time Bruno Zita curled home a Beckham-esque free-kick golazo on the angle to hand Gabon one of the great wins in AFCON history.
