Colombia, France, Portugal & Cameroon advance at the Under-20 World Cup

Colombia 1 – South Korea 0 (Under-20 World Cup, August 5, 2011) Luis Muriel scored for Colombia in the 37th minute, capitalising on a mistake by South Korea keeper No Dong-geon who abandoned his goalmouth without taking the ball.

France 2 – Mali 0 (Under-20 World Cup, August 5, 2011)  Cedric Bakambu found the net with a right-footed shot into the far corner in the 70th minute – a minute after Mali had a man sent off – and Alxandre Lacazette sealed the victory with a sharp-angled shot from the right in the 77th.

Portugal 1 – New Zealand 0 (Under-20 World Cup, August 5, 2011) Mario Rui netted in the 31st minute, taking advantage of a well-timed through ball by striker Nelson Oliveira.

Uruguay 0 – Cameroon 1 (Under-20 World Cup, August 5, 2011) Emmanuel Mbongo scored in the 28th minute for Cameroon against Uruguay.
