Zimbabwe 0 – Brazil 3 (International Friendly, June 2, 2010) (Longer highlights here.) Brazil were lucky not to fall behind in the opening stages in Zimbabwe as the Samba Boys started well off the pace in their first match in Africa this summer, but in the 42nd minutes Dunga watched his team take the lead as Michel Bastos cracked home an unstoppable free-kick. Two minutes later Brazil doubled their advantage when Robinho was freed in the box by a great ball from Maicon and the Santos forward toe-poked home the second. Ten minutes after the break Elano tapped home the third after a fine one-two between Dani Alves and Julio Baptista (great backheel).

Azerbaijan 0 – Honduras 0 (International Friendly, June 2, 2010) Honduras look a little light weight going into the World Cup without target striker Carlos Costly. They failed to really test Azerbaijan goalkeeper Salahat Agayev, even after the 73rd-minute red card awarded to Sasa Yunisoglu for a rash tackle.
Romania 0 – Macedonia 1 (International Friendly, June 2, 2010) Tall central defender Vance Sikov scored the only goal of the game after 28 minutes.

Serbia 0 – Poland 0 (International Friendly, June 2, 2010) Both sides struggled in poor conditions.
