Hoffenheim rally from 2-down against Gladbach

Hoffenheim 2 – Monchengladbach 2 (Bundesliga, February 19, 2010) Gladbach looked well on their way to three points when Filip Daems slotted home a penalty on the half hour and Roberto Colautti doubled the visitors lead seven minutes after the restart. Vedad Ibisevic pulled a goal back for Hoffenheim with 30 minutes remaining and the Village Team claimed a late equaliser when Carlos Eduardo scored from the spot.

Roda 2 – Heracles 1 (Eredivisie, February 19, 2010) Everton Ramos da Silva put the visitors ahead in the opening 10 minutes and they looked set to hold onto that lead until Roda’s late rally. First defender Davy de Fauw fired in an equaliser and, although Anouar Hadouir missed a penalty, Marcel de Jong spared his blushes with a neat finish two minutes from time.

Maritimo 1 – Nacional 1 (Liga Sagres, February 19, 2010) Honours were even in the Madeira derby as Maritimo were held by Nacional. Kleber gave Maritimo a 1-0 lead in the 33rd minute but Nacional hit back after the break as Felipe Lopes scored with 16 minutes to go.

Racing Genk 3 – Lokeren 1 (Jupiler League, February 19, 2010) Lokeren, who are level on points with bottom side Roeselare, took the lead through Sanharib Malki in the 58th minute and were still ahead going into the last 12 minutes. But Elyaniv Barda then levelled and the hosts went on to secure victory thanks to goals from Marwin Ogunjimi and Orlando, with visiting goalkeeper Boubacar Barry sent off five minutes from time.

Wiener Neustadt 2 – Rapid Vienna 2 (T-Mobile Bundesliga, February 19, 2010) Twice Rapid led but twice they were pegged back, with Rene Gartler putting them in front in the 15th minute before Mario Reiter equalised for the hosts three minutes later. Rapid made a stunning start to the second half as Christopher Trimmel restored their lead within seconds of kick-off but again they failed to hold on as Hannes Aigner scored with 17 minutes left.

Velez Sarfield 3 – Independiente 0 (Clausura, February 19, 2010) Juan Manuel Martinez opened the scoring for Velez when he received a low cross from the left and beat a defender before firing left-footed into the net. Maximiliano Moralez scored from the penalty spot in the 64th and Santiago Silva completed the victory with the third after Independiente goalkeeper Adrian Gabbarini fumbled the ball after gathering from a corner in the 89th.

Chacarita Juniors 1 – Colon 2 (Clausura, February 19, 2010) German Rivarola opened the scoring for Colon against Chacarita with a deflected shot in the 15th minute. Chacarita levelled through a Facundo Parra header in the 61st, but Federico Nieto scored the winner for Colon, tapping in at the back post in the third minute of stoppage time.
