Brilliant Bayern hit Werder Bremen for 6

Bayern Munich 6 – Werder Bremen 1 (Bundesliga, February 23, 2013) Arjen Robben snuck in to give Bayern the lead, just as Ribery was preparing to take the chance. Javi Martinez headed in from an Arjen Robben free-kick to make it 2-0 Bayern. Werder had Sebastian Prodl wrongly sent off after he won the ball cleanly, but Mario Gomez’s dived seemed to con the referee. Theodor Genre Selassie scored an unlucky own goal for Werder to make it 3-0 Bayern. Frank Ribery’s chip was going in, but Mario Gomez made sure on the line as all good strikers do, to make it 4-0. Kevin de Bruyne pulled one back for Bremen but late goals by Franck Ribery and Mario Gomez completed the rout.
