Dortmund start their Bundesliga defence beating Hamburg 3-1

Borussia Dortmund 3 – Hamburg 1 (Bundesliga, August 5, 2011) Kevin Grosskreutz was left acres of room by a disorganised Hamburg defence to put Dortmund in front after 17 minutes. Mario Goetze doubled Dortmund’s lead in the 29th minute after played a neat one-two with Robert Lewandowski. Only two minutes were up in the second half when Grosskreutz prodded a loose ball in from close range after Gotze had again carved a way through the Hamburg defence. Robert Tesche scored a consolation goal in the 79th, blasting the ball through a crowd of defenders after Shinji Kagawa had cleared Marcell Jansen’s header off the line.
