Bayern Munich 2 – Kaiserslautern 0 (Bundesliga, February 11, 2012) First half goals from Mario Gomez and Thomas Muller eased Bayern to a comfortable victory.

Stuttgart 5 – Hertha Berlin 0 (Bundesliga, February 11, 2012) Recent signing Vedad Ibisevic opened the scoring for the hosts after 24 minutes and Martin Harnik scored his first of the game four minutes later. Shinji Okazaki netted on 32 minutes and, after making it 4-0 before half-time, Harnik then completed his hat-trick just before the hour mark.

Mainz 1 – Hannover 1 (Bundesliga, February 11, 2012) Mohamed Zidan’s seventh minute goal had Mainz in command until Arthur Sobiech, who was only introduced in the 86th minute, equalised with a minute remaining.

Werder Bremen 1 – Hoffenheim 1 (Bundesliga, February 11, 2012) Marko Arnautovic scored a last-minute leveller as Werder Bremen snatched a 1-1 draw at home with mid-table Hoffenheim. Jannik Vestegaard’s fourth minute goal appeared likely to give Hoffenheim the points until Arnautovic’s dramatic intervention.

Monchengladbach 3 – Schalke 0 (Bundesliga, February 11, 2012) Gladbach stunned Schalke with three first-half goals to win the late game 3-0 and take over from the visitors in third, one point behind Bayern. Marco Reus got the home side off to a flying start in the second minute, when he eluded two Schalke defenders to score inside the far post from a tight angle.  Mike Hanke then played a delicate one-two with Juan Arango before curling a shot beyond Lars Unnerstall in the 16th. Reus teed up an indirect free kick for Arango to stroke over the wall and in off the underside of the crossbar from 20 meters (yards) in the 32nd.
